Naomi Muto is specialized in Mezzo Soprano. She studied music both in Japan
and Germany.

1996 Moved to Germany to study Mezzo Soprano part of German and French songs

of Germany
2001-2 Studied at Department of Voice Music at University of Koln
Muto has studied under Kunio Saura, Takeaki Kawai, Janzen Altur, Ingeborg Reichelt,
Christian de Bruyn, Gabor Antalffy, Alexander Schmalcz, Tomas Gabrisch and
Tobias Richiter

1990 From this year she started performing as a Soloist and appeared on the
following stages; as Papagena in Mozart's eDie Zauberfloete, as Susanna in
eLe Nozze Di Figarof and as Adele in Strausf eDie Flendermausf
1998 Britten's Opera eA Midsummer Nightfs Dreamf as Hippolyta
1999 German Rhine Opera Mendelssohnfs eA Midsummer Nightfs Dreamf as
Fairy, Puccinifs Opera eSour Angelicaf as Chief Nun. Muto also had a
contract as a Soloist with Duesserdorf's St. Antonius Church and sang
Scharpenteefs eTe Dumef, Mozratfs eMassf and Hendelfs eMesiahf
2000 Soloist part in Vivaldifs eMagnificatof at St Checheria Memorial
Concert in Duesserdorf
2001 She spent a brief spell in Japan and joined the tour sponsored by
Embassy of the German Federal Republic, and performed on stages in Tokyo,
Chiba, Kanagawa, and Shizuoka with accompanist Alexander Schmalcz. She sang
Schumannfs eFrauenliebe und Lebenf and Brahmsf songs. In Opera, she
played a role as Carmen in Bizetfs eCarmenf, Isabella in Rossinifs
eL'italiana in Algerif, as Cenerentola in eLa Cenerentolaf, Sextus and
Vitellia in Mozartfs eLa Clemenza di Titof, and Cherubino in eLe Nozze
Di Figaro
2005 In January, she sang at the joint stage with accompanist Alexander
Scmarz and Baritone Eric Frijof at Millennium Hall, in March played Siebel
in Gounodfs Opera eFaustf, and sang Carl Loewe's songs at Kioi Hall in
May and Japanese songs at Millennium Hall in July.
Currently, she lectures vocal music at Toho High School of Music and Toho
School of Music.
